Wake *** Up is written by former Marvel Comics President Creator Bill Jemas.

Wake *** Up starts as a storybook parody of best-seller Go *** Sleep. In lyrical tones, parents encourage their kids to get out of bed and out the door, to put down their games and pick up their books. But after years of blank, sleepy stares and passive aggressive sloth, the parents explode into expletives and kick their 20-somethings out the door. Then, Wake *** Up transforms into a comic book in which the next generation takes over, as we see the same story from their point of view.
"When the comics were in a deep hole, Bill helped restart the industry by focusing Marvel Comics on the teen audience. Bill Jemas was the architect Ultimate Spider-Man and Origin of Wolverine, two of the bestselling graphic novels in history.
