Cullen Bunn and Andrea Mutti will bring nightmares to life in Dark Horse Comics' PARASOMNIA

The press release follows:

Media Release -- From acclaimed horror creators Cullen Bunn (Harrow County, Cyberpunk 2077 Trauma Team) and Andrea Mutti (Prometheus, Starship Down), alongside letterer Simon Bowland, comes the new nightmare-invoking miniseries Parasomnia.

After the disappearance of his son, one man becomes a captive in a nightmarish dreamscape in order to find him. As dreams and reality blur together in growing panic, a ruthless cult seeks to break down the barrier even further and rule the land of dreams. Can our hero and his son return to the real world, or will they be trapped forever in limbo?

"Parasomnia is an eerie dark fantasy adventure. Part of it is set in our world--the waking world--and part of it is set... someplace else. A land of ruthless highwaymen and forgotten gods and fierce monsters. It's a little bit sword and sorcery, a little bit mystery, a little horror, and a whole lot of action adventure.

In this story, we're introduced to a man with no name, a hunter who is seeking a missing child in the world of dream. He has special abilities in this realm. He can shape dream. But doing so comes at a cost. He's tracking a powerful figure called the Faceless Queen, and his search takes him through the most dangerous of realms.

Meanwhile, in the waking world, we're introduced to an estranged couple who are struggling with the disappearance of their child. As they deal with their loss in their own way, dark forces start to align against them."- Cullen Bunn

"In an apparently normal world, a desperate man, a woman searching for her missing son and a diabolical group of cultists hiding a terrible secret wander around. The world, when awake, seems full of colors...but as soon as the lights go out and you fall asleep, a different world appears from the shadows and only the man with no name can lead us out of the nightmare."- Andrea Mutti
