Virtually everything X-Men is feeling the heat from the MCU rumors, and your Sabretooth keys have been gaining value in recent months.

NO SABRETOOTH IN THE MCU?

Sabretooth is one of my all-time favorite characters. Before I started collecting Wolverine keys, I opted for Sabretooth's early appearances because they are so much cheaper.

Alas, I don't expect to see Victor Creed in the MCU, at least not for a while. He's had two incarnations in the Fox X-Verse, and neither was overly memorable. Too bad he was wasted in Wolverine: Origins, though he was the highlight of such an awful movie.

Even if the odds are against him joining the MCU, his key issues are doing very well as of late.

SABRETOOTH KEYS

SabretoothIRON FIST #14

After being previewed as a shadowy figure at the end of the previous issue, Sabretooth made his debut in 1977's Iron Fist #14. Beginning here, Victor Creed tormented Iron Fist and his Heroes for Hire partner, Luke Cage, during the end of the Bronze Age.

Over the past 90 days, virtually every grade that has sold online has seen a rise in value compared to a year ago. At the top of the heap is the 9.6, which has a three-month fair market value of $856. The real indicator is in the low grades. When the 3.0 is selling for nearly $150, it is a testament to the issue's popularity.

SabretoothUNCANNY X-MEN #212

Sabretooth may have started as an Iron Fist and Luke Cage villain, but no one cared about him until he took on Wolverine.

Chronologically, UXM #212 is the first time Wolverine and Sabretooth met in a comic, and it was glorious. Since then, these two have had many encounters, but their first battle is still their best, in my opinion.

Values for this issue are on the rise, but it is still a rather inexpensive comic. At a 9.8, it has a 90-day average of $176, and one copy sold at the end of last month for a respectable $230. If you are looking to save money, there are many options. Basically, everything from the 9.2 and below sells for $50 or less.

SabretoothUNCANNY X-MEN #213

If you are going to collect that epic showdown that began in UXM #212, you have to add #213 to your collection. Personally, I prefer this cover as it gives us a great shot of both Logan and Victor Creed in full rages.

Since last year, this issue has been earning decent numbers. The 9.8 had a new record-high sale of $308, and so far this year, it has already reached $200 with a $115 90-day FMV. Looking for something more budget-friendly? Anything from a 9.2 and below is selling for $60 and under.

SabretoothWOLVERINE #10

Nearly three years after the events of the "Mutant Massacre," Wolverine #10 gave us Wolverine and Sabretooth's true first meeting, although it is in a flashback.

This is one of the more popular Sabretooth keys, and you will always see copies on display at comic conventions. The 9.8 has been doing well lately, and it boasts a $111 three-month average. Even the 9.6 is selling for close to $60, which is respectable for a minor key.
