You can almost hear the sound of millions of fanboys and fangirls breathing a collective sigh of relief. Late last night it was announced that Warner Bros. and Fox have come to an “amicable” settlement in the long-running lawsuit that had fandom up in arms. From strongly worded criticisms, to calls for a boycott of Fox’s future comic properties (such as the upcoming Wolverine: Origins), it was immediately clear that nearly every comic fan out there wants to watch the Watchmen.

Now maybe the clamor from the fanbase was at root of the settlement. Or maybe it was all a staged marketing ploy to stoke the fires of public sentiment. Regardless, March 6th we’ll all get the opportunity to check out Zack Snyder’s take on this seminal tale of identity and heroism. And we at TFAW.com will be camped out at the front of the line, in costume, to watch the film we’ve been waiting 23 years to see. And we better not be disappointed . .

So how about the rest of you? Chomping at the bit? Waiting with bated breath? Or are you one of those folks who firmly signs off on the ‘Indifferent’ box? We’d love to know.
