DC Entertainment announces that the monthly We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant Covers now will begin with September's BATMAN #0.
"After rush soliciting the JUSTICE LEAGUE #12 WE CAN BE HEROES BLANK VARIANT COVER EDITION for August on sale, we decided that this campaign would be better served by starting with a full solicitation in Previews," says Bob Wayne, DC's SVP — Sales.
All orders placed for the rush solicited JUSTICE LEAGUE #12 We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant Cover edition are cancelled.
As a reminder, the We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant cover editions will feature a wraparound blank cover printed on heavy cover stock with a matte finish, with the We Can Be Heroes banner at the top. One DC Comics title will be offered with a We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant cover edition each month for twelve months. For every variant edition sold, $1.00 will go to benefit the people of the Horn of Africa.
The We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant cover editions do not require any qualifying order; retailers may order as many of these as they wish.
The BATMAN #0 WE CAN BE HEROES BLANK VARIANT COVER EDITION (JUL120156) is on Final Order Cutoff on August 20 and is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 12.
