Media Release -- Markisan Naso and Jason Muhr, the dynamic team behind VORACIOUS and VORACIOUS: Feeding Time, return this Winter with the third volume of their acclaimed Action Lab: Danger Zone series.

The new 5-issue sequel, VORACIOUS: Appetite for Destruction, continues the story of Chef Nate Willner who unexpectedly rekindles his desire to cook after he inherits a time dive suit that takes him to the age of the dinosaurs. While there, Nate eats a Quetzalcoatlus and gets the idea to open a restaurant in the present that serves ancient meat from the past. Unfortunately, he soon discovers that his hunts have unexpected and catastrophic consequences.

The first two series, VORACIOUS and VORACIOUS: FEEDING TIME, were met with widespread critical and fan acclaim for their unique and quirky take on time travel, engaging characters, humor, sci-fi action and heart.

"We are so excited that Action Lab is publishing VORACIOUS: Appetite for Destruction! We can't wait for readers to see where we take the characters in our third act," said writer Markisan Naso. "Expect big surprises, crazy dinosaur-on-dinosaur action, sandwiches and heartbreak."

"With Appetite for Destruction, Markisan and I finally get to complete Nate and company's story," said artist Jason Muhr. "'Destruction' is our craziest arc yet. Readers have no idea where it's all heading and I'm having a blast working on some truly insane visuals. Fair warning: there will be blood!"

The 5-issue VORACIOUS: APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION is set to debut this Winter from Action Lab: Danger Zone, picking up right after the double-cliffhanger in VORACIOUS: Feeding Time #5.

To promote the new series and to help fund production costs for VORACIOUS: APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION, the creators have launched a Kickstarter. The campaign, which began on Tuesday, May 1, offers a variety of unique rewards, including a giant-size 1st issue that combines retailer issues #1 and #2, two exclusive covers, a limited-edition cassette, a brand-new T-shirt, and a chance to be horribly killed in the pages of the upcoming issue.

What people are saying about Voracious:

"I highly, highly recommend this comic." (MARK WAID, Award-Winning Writer of Kingdom Come, Daredevil, Avengers, Captain America)

"The premise of VORACIOUS is so ridiculous, so weird, that it should not work. At all. But you know what? It DOES. And the result is a book that's honest and completely original – a true wild ride that's unlike anything else. I thoroughly enjoyed VORACIOUS, cover to cover." (MICHAEL MORECI, writer of Black Star Renegades, Roche Limit, Wasted Space)

"If you're not familiar with the VORACIOUS series, you owe it to yourself to check it out! It's beautifully written and drawn, high-concept sci-fi." (ED LUCE, Award-Winning creator of Wuvable Oaf)
