Drone #1Media Release -- November marks the release of DRONE, an all-new action-adventure comic series in the spirit of WARGAMES, with the robotic action of TERMINATOR and TRANSFORMERS.

In the near future, the U.S. transforms modern warfare by testing lethal remotely controlled robotic drones on the front lines. They are powerful, lethal, and effective. To the world's superpowers, the technology is something to be coveted and stolen. To a group of state-side fun-loving hackers, it is the ultimate video game. But when enemy rebels capture a group of drones and lock out their military controllers, the illicit gamers may be the only hope for the surviving technician.

A preview of DRONE was featured in Red 5 Comics' acclaimed 2009 Free Comic Book Day "ATOMIC ROBO vs. DR. DINOSAUR" issue, building anticipation for the newseries among a mass of comic fans across North America.

DRONE is a four-issue monthly mini-series, created by Red 5 Comics co-founder Scott Chitwood (Afterburn) with art by Randy Kintz (Ray Harryhausen Presents:Jason and the Argonauts) and colors by Garry Henderson (Grimm Fairy Tales, Returnto Wonderland).
