The press release follows:

Media Release -- Vampire Hunter D is a long-running (since 1983) series of novels written by Hideyuki Kikuchi, featuring illustrations by renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy). Dark Horse has proudly published these novels in English for many years, most recently celebrating the first Omnibus collection, which combines the first three books in one handy volume.

Now, Vampire Hunter D travels into even newer territory: audio books! Graphic Audio, a premier audio brand of industry leader RBmedia, has just released the first of several full-cast, enhanced audio adaptations of the beloved novels. Listen to an audio sample from Volume 1 here >

"Finally, I'm able to deliver the travels and travails of D not only in letters, but in sounds and spoken word! For all of the longtime fans, and for all of the fans that will appear in years to come, I think you certainly have a lot to be excited about." --author Hideyuki Kikuchi
