Across the Spider-Verse is wowing audiences and inspiring buyers to track down multiple keys this week.

All those Spider-Miles investments are finally paying off. With the new movie having premiered in theaters to rave reviews, buyers wanted a piece of the action. The result was a wave of Spider-Verse keys dominating the eBay sales rankings. Remember, the index is based on sales volume, not fair market values. However, this week we have a pricey modern grail that is rocketing up the ladder.

2. ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4 (+22)

At the moment, everything is coming up Miles. Back when he was first announced for his own video game in the PS Spider-Man spinoff, UF #4 was the first key to hit the rafters. Naturally, interest died down and deflated those price tags.

Now that Spider-Miles will finally get his own live-action movie, it’s time for this issue to get another boost. Will it reach the record highs from a couple years ago? If it’s going to happen, now is the time.

9. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #365 (+19)

This week’s Trending Comics is all about Across the Spider-Verse and for good reason. Many critics are calling it the best Spider-Man movie ever made, animated or live action. Miguel O’Hara has emerged in the mainstream consciousness in a big way, and buyers were quick to scour the auction sites for his first appearance.

Here we have his debut in a sneak preview of Spider-Man 2099 #1. Those five pages in the back of ASM #365 count as Miguel’s first full appearance, thus the scramble for this comic.

28. MICRONAUTS #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

With the huge interest in Rom: Spaceknight, it is not surprising to see the Micronauts getting a share of the spotlight. Like Rom, Hasbro owns the rights to the Micronauts, but it would seem that the corporation is open to working with Marvel.

As I mentioned in the latest Hottest Comics blog, having the Go-Bots connected to the MCU via The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. That could open the door for some very interesting crossovers if Marvel Studios so chooses.

56. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 FACSIMILE EDITION (NEW TO THE LIST)

Spider-Man is dominating the secondary market this week. Why wouldn’t he? There’s movies, series, and cartoons exploring all avenues of the Spider-Verse. Don’t forget that the Spider-Man 2 PS game is on the way, and we’ve even got our first gameplay preview.

For those of us without thousands of dollars to invest in a low-grade ASM #1, there’s the facsimile edition. Maybe it’s not the original, but it looks good on display and is a worthy consolation prize for the hardcore ASM collectors.

70. EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE #2 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Spider-Gwen’s first appearance is poised for big things. Her first solo title, Spider-Gwen #1, made the Hottest Comics blog this week, so it’s fitting that her debut in Edge of Spider-Verse #2 would regain its footing.

This comic should bound forward in the days to come given her huge role in Across the Spider-Verse. She also has massive potential outside the Spider-Verse films, and we could very well see her in the MCU in some fashion.
