Multiverse of Madness is still reveling in its box office glory, and it’s still influencing the market in major ways. Let's see what Trending Comics popped up over the last week.

It’s time again to take a magnifying glass to the Hottest Comics index. What buying patterns do we see emerging deeper in the top 100? The excitement for the MCU’s future projects is adding new faces to the lineup, and they will be climbing the ranks in due time.

100. FANTASTIC FOUR #49 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Mister Fantastic may have come and gone in unspectacular MOM fashion, but that doesn’t ignore the fact that the Fantastic Four have arrived in the MCU.

With any FF speculation comes questions about the Silver Surfer and Galactus.

While we have seen them in the Fox franchises, it will be an awesome sight to see them with MCU special effects.

Their first appearances in FF #48 is out of reach for most collectors at this point, but there’s always the second appearance in FF #49. That also happens to be the pair’s first cover appearance, a market that continues to grow.

91. NYX #3 (NEW TO THE LIST)

It has been a while since we talked about Laura Kinney.

Rumors circulate that the MCU Wolverine has been secretly cast, and it stands to reason that it will be the all-new, all-different Wolverine.

Formerly known as X-23, Wolverine’s female clone first appeared in Nyx #3.

Whether she will be featured in the live-action X-Men reboot or the cartoon X-Men ‘97, one way or another, I wager we will see more Laura in the future, and that is driving sales for Nyx #3.

85. THOR #2 (NEW TO THE LIST)

The Love and Thunder hype is building, and it is sending collectors into a frenzy for the Goddess of Thunder.

Although the more popular collectible is 2014’s Thor #1, aside from the cover, she was featured only as a cameo in that comic.

That leads buyers to Thor #2, in which she makes her full debut.

As prices continue to rise for all her keys, we can expect to see more Jane Foster appearances on the Hottest Comics index in the coming months.

82. PAPER GIRLS #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Time travel has become the trendy sci-fi plot device.

Whether it’s Endgame, The Time Traveler’s Wife, the Quantum Leap reboot, or Amazon’s Outer Range, time travel has come back into fashion in the mainstream.

Three years ago, Amazon announced that it had optioned Paper Girls, Brian K. Vaughn’s story about teenagers caught in a time-travel war.

The series leads have been cast, and it looks like the show will make it to streaming audiences. That has buyers on the hunt for the series’ first issue.

15. SECRET WARS #1 (+11)

All things Secret Wars have begun to percolate thanks to Multiverse of Madness.

The film introduced the concept of incursions between universes, and that ties into the 2015 Secret Wars event.

While that may be the direction the MOM clue points, collectors always want the first issue of the original 1984 series.

That one happened to feature the Beyonder’s first appearance as a voice and a flash of light.

He’s so dramatic.
