Everyone loves Moon Knight now that his trailer has swooned audiences across the MCU fandom, and his key issues are hotter than ever. Here's this week's Trending Comics analysis!

It’s an exciting time to be a comic book fan. The MCU is bustling with new movies and Disney+ series, and Sony has a few tricks up its sleeve to tease Spider-verse fans. It adds up to renewed interest in several issues that could spell profits for the savvy investor.

Remember, the Hottest Comics are based on sales volume, not fair market value. In fact, high FMVs can hinder a comic’s pace on the rankings if buyers have cheaper alternatives. With that in mind, let’s look at five that have been trending in the past 30 days.

5. MOON KNIGHT #1 (+20)

The Moon Knight trailer has been dropped, and to no one’s surprise, it is creating a massive wave of excitement for the mentally ill superhero.

It’s also propelling his key issues to the top of the sales charts and this week's Trending Comics list.

Over the past 30 days, it’s been the first issue of his self-titled series that has gained the most traction.

Much of this can be attributed to the continuing rise in prices for Moon Knight’s debut in Werewolf By Night #32, which makes Moon Knight #1 a cheap find in comparison.

14. X-MEN #1 (+38)

The record-breaking X-Men, vol. 2, #1 is edging toward the top of the charts once again.

Arguably, this issue kicked off the age of variants with its multiple covers from superstar artist Jim Lee.

Love them or hate them, variants are the standard in modern comic collecting, and you can blame this issue with its massive print run. But why is it suddenly on the move?

That is likely tied to the upcoming revival of X-Men: The Animated Series. X-Men ‘97 is stylized after Lee’s iconic art from the second volume of X-Men.

37. WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #1 (+40)

Thanks to No Way Home’s mid-credits scene with Tom Hardy, all your issues of the black suit saga are kicking in the afterburners. From Secret Wars #8 to ASM #252 and beyond, the story of Peter Parker donning the alien symbiote before it bonded to Eddie Brock is reaching a new level of popularity.

Much of this comes from the image of Tom Holland being consumed by the Venom symbiote that has been circling social media for weeks now. It’s the primary reason why Web of Spider-Man #1, which featured Peter battling to rid himself of the symbiote, was propelled up the rankings.

32. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #194 (NEW TO THE LIST)

It would seem we will finally see Black Cat in live action…at some point. She was teased in the Morbius trailer, and that has fans wondering if the oft-rumored Black Cat/Silver Sable team-up movie is back on the slate.

It is giving collectors new reasons to want to add Black Cat’s first appearance to their collections.

What will really give it a boost is if she makes a cameo in Morbius. Just food for thought.

62. STAR WARS #2 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Whether it’s the modern or classic issues of Star Wars, anything from the galaxy far, far away is lighting up the secondary market. Ever since the Kenobi Disney+ show became official, buyers have been taking a closer look at Star Wars #2.

What makes this issue special is it features the first in-story appearance of Obi-Wan. True, he is on the cover art of Star Wars #1, but the old Jedi does not appear in the actual comic.

That makes the second issue his true first appearance in a comic and not just the cover.

That wraps up this week's look at Trending Comics! What do you expect to see next week?
