Crossing their fingers for a mighty payoff, collectors and investors were stockpiling those Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania keys. Meanwhile, Eminem was making waves across the secondary market.

Whenever there’s a new superhero movie on the horizon, it sends buyers straight to eBay with an eye on those sweet, sweet profits. The flipping game is well into effect this week as speculators were thinking M.O.D.O.K. and Scott Lang.

69. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 HUSTL. EDITION (NEW TO THE LIST)

Eminem appeared on his first Marvel Comics cover, and collectors couldn’t get enough. The most recent ASM #1 (what are we up to now? 49? 50?) may not be getting attention necessarily for its story, but the limited edition Hustl. variant has proven to be a massive hit.

Released in December, the graded 9.6 has been reaching $600+ in recent weeks. That’s nothing compared to the 9.8, which sold on New Year’s Eve for $1,350.

31. TALES OF SUSPENSE #94 (NEW TO THE LIST)

The volume is being turned up on all things Quantumania, and with that comes a new demand for those all-important key issues. Since we got our first look at M.O.D.O.K. in the most recent trailer, buyers have been on the hunt for Tales of Suspense #94. Although there are many complaints about the MCU interpretation of the organism designed only for killing, not to mention that he’s Darren Cross from the original Ant-Man movie, collectors are still excited about his first appearance.

45. MARVEL PREMIERE #47 (+30)

Speaking of Quantumania, it’s no surprise that Scott’s first appearance was climbing the ladder this week. The closer we are to the movie’s premiere date, the more attention this issue will get. The hot theory is that Scott won’t survive past his third movie, which would pave the way for Cassie to become a superhero in her own right.

With that in mind, I wouldn’t be shocked to see his death in the comics climbing into the top-100 best sellers.

62. HERO FOR HIRE #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

There’s no news on the Luke Cage front, but with Daredevil taking the A-train from Netflix to Disney Plus, it opens the floodgates for all the MCU Defenders to return to the screen. Mike Colter was a great casting choice for the former Power Man, and fans are completely on board with him returning to the role. Pair him with Iron Fist, and Marvel Studios would have an instant hit.

All that being said, it makes sense that his debut in Hero for Hire #1 is once again in the Hottest Comics rankings.

63. ACTION COMICS #1 FACSIMILE EDITION (NEW TO THE LIST)

James Gunn has made Superman the talk of the comic book community. While some are demanding his head for not keeping Henry Cavill in the role, there is undeniable intrigue surrounding what the DC Studios co-chair is cooking up. Earlier this week, Gunn posted a picture from All-Star Superman to social media. It adds fuel to the collecting fire, but where do you turn for Man of Steel keys?

With an iconic character so old, even his minor key issues are holy grails. That could be why the facsimile edition of Action Comics #1 has been gaining traction; it beats the four figures you’d pay for just the cutout of the issue number from the original.
