“X” marks the spot today at our 28 Days of Comics sale! Today is an awesome opportunity to score a ton of great titles. “”Like what?” you may ask.

How about X-Force: Angels & Demons for starters? This fan favorite takes surly, bloodthirsty mutant Wolverine, gives him a team of equally surly and bloodthirsty homeys, and sends them out to be surly and bloodthirsty.

“Yeah Andrew, but what’s the plot?” Search me, I’ve got no idea. I’m sure it has one, but for me this is a title about stabbing people with claws, knives, and werewolf hands (which are also technically claws I suppose), and everything else is secondary.

Seriously, check out the cover (this is the X-Force: Angels & Demons Hardcover (Bloody Variant) for those who are interested). Do these guys look like they’re here to discuss plot progression and foreshadowing? No. They are here to tear some villains up, figuratively and literally, and have no patience for you and your questions about plot. Personally, I would not push them on the matter, as I have it on good authority this picture was taken immediately following their last appearance at a book club meeting.

Of course you can’t have X-Force without the X-Men. Luckily, we have plenty of both. Now’s a good time to catch up on your favorite story arcs as our X-Men trades are marked 28% off. Whether you’re looking for the older stuff or more recent offerings like X-Men: Messiah Complex, we’ve got you covered.

NEWS FLASH: So a lot of people have realized that our 28 Days of Comics event only has 27 days spoken for. So what’s up with Day 28? We’re telling you for the first time today! On February 28th, we will be taking every comic, graphic novel, and book from 2008 and earlier, and marking them at 28% off for 24 hours only. So whether you missed a title you meant to get over the previous 27 days, wished you’d ordered more when you had the chance, or just like picking up everything at once, Saturday, February 28th is your chance to score a great deal on all of our comics, graphic novels, and books from 2008 and before. We’ll see you then!

So, given that the cat is now out of the bag, tell us–what are you going to pick up? We’d love to know.
