Good golly, Miss Molly! Today’s “G” titles for our 28 Days of Comics sale run the gamut from the big-bosomed bombshells of Grimm Fairy Tales to the story of two girls growing up and growing apart in Daniel Clowes’ Ghost World.

Passed down through generations, fairy tales serve to teach youngsters morals. The fairy tales we’re familiar with were once darker, more violent stories.

Zenescope’s Grimm Fairy Tales recreate tales like Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and the Robber Bridegroom, just to name a few. These are fun books with great art, so you won’t be disappointed.

Daniel Clowes’ Ghost World follows two cynical girls as they grow up and drift apart from one another. Enid and Rebecca recently graduated high school. They wander the streets of their suburban town and poke fun of the people around them and criticize pop culture.

The book is full of funny moments, and those sad moments that hint at a dying friendship. You really should check out this book. Yah, it was made into a movie. Yah, Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson starred in it. We also have a few copies of the Special Edition, which has a bunch of cool bonus material like sketches, annotations, and the Oscar-nominated screenplay.

Other titles to look out for today are Ghost Rider, God Save the Queen, and Green Lantern. Have a Great day!
