Although there are tons of questions concerning the upcoming Disney+ show WandaVision, I will only focus on Vision. But if Vision died in Infinity War how did he return? This is a question every fan has been asking. In the upcoming show WandaVision, we have seen Vision, once believed to be dead, resurrected. But how is that possible? We all saw Thanos kill him when he removed the Mind Stone. Well, I have a theory about that….

Now if you haven’t seen Avengers Infinity War, STOP and do yourself a favor and go watch it already. It has been out for quite some time now. However, if you want to miss a Marvel Masterpiece, be warned there are spoilers below.

During the beginning of Infinity War, we see Vision and Wanda both being attacked. Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, both members of the Black Order, tried to take the Mind Stone from Vision. Of course, this brought about one of the best parts of the movie, Captain America showing up to save the day. However, Vision was left badly injured after all was said and done.

At this point, Bruce comes and rejoins the team to tell them of the coming of Thanos. In order to save Vision and the stone, the team decided to head to Wakanda to see if the stone could be safely removed.

In Wakanda, Black Panther’s sister, Shuri, is tasked with developing a way to remove the stone safely. Now we have seen the technology that Wakanda has. If anyone can do it, they can, especially since Shuri is pretty much a tech genius. While “downloading” Vision, they get attacked again by the Black Order members Corvus and Proxima.

My Vision Theory

Here is where my theory starts. We assume that she was not able to download all of Vision. But what if she did? What if she was able to download and copy Vision’s mind so that he can be placed in another body down the line. Pretty much like what we see in Hickman’s run of X-Men. Cerebro copies the minds of the mutants on Krakoa, Shuri could have done the same. If you rewatch that part over again, you will notice that Shuri rushes her process when she hears them approach. On the screen, you see the pathways connecting Vision's 6 primary sections. As she uploads the sections they change from orange to blue. At the very end, if you pause it just right, you will see the pathways have all changed.

With hints of Wanda losing her grip on reality as the plot line for their show, Vision would stand the best chance to bring her back. This would be the point where S.W.O.R.D. could come in to assist. Working together with Shuri they could easily bring back Vision, obviously minus the Mind Stone itself. This also might be why when Vision touches the "Nosy Neighbor" (thought to be Agatha Harkness), she tells him that he is dead.

Of course, another easier theory can be that Wanda recreated him in her mind during the breakdown. But personally, I like my above theory much better. Plus it fits with the MCU craziness.  Regardless of what you believe, Avengers #57 is still one of the best books to get. It is the first appearance of Vision and currently holding an FMV of  $18,5000. Of course for a more feasible amount, you can opt for a book in the 7.5 range and below. The 7.5 graded copy has an FMV of $375.  Plus all that red just looks gorgeous!

So what do you think about this theory? Do you have one of your own? Let me know below!
