With Moon Knight, Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on the horizon, most collectors are speculating on the first appearance of the Sun King in Moon Knight #188, the first appearance of Shuma-Gorath in Marvel Premiere #10, and the first appearance of Quasar in Incredible Hulk #234. To me, those books are already expensive and it's no guarantee those characters will appear. Instead, I'm going to talk about three deep cuts that are still inexpensive.

Thor #239: 1st Appearance of Osiris, Horus & Isis

With Moon Knight only weeks away, his major keys are spiking in value. If you're interested in those, I'd wait six months and buy them when most collectors have moved onto the next shiny ball.

If you're looking to speculate on a deep cut, I'd suggest Thor #239, which contains the first appearances of several Egyptian gods including Osiris, Horus, and Isis. We know for certain that Khonsu, the Egyptian god of the Moon, will appear in Moon Knight. Is there a chance that other major Egyptian gods may appear? That' seems like a reasonable bet.

Osiris is the god of the dead, Horus is the god of the sky, and Isis is the goddess of love. Those three are major Egyptian deities and we shouldn't be surprised if we see them next month in Moon Knight.

You can purchase this Bronze Age comic on eBay for around $5 to $20, depending on condition.

Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies

I'm betting that we see the Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies storyline at some point on Disney+ for a few reasons. First, What If...? has already introduced both the Age of Ultron and Marvel Zombies storylines. Second, it's been confirmed that Marvel is producing a Marvel Zombies show. Lastly, @mainmiddleman, a Twitter account that many Youtubers cite as a source, tweeted back in October that we would see the Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies storyline play out.

I think there's a chance that we see the Ultron bots and zombies together in the Multiverse of Madness. It is supposed to be a horror film, after all. Unlike the first appearances of the Marvel Zombies, these books are still affordable.

On eBay, you can purchase Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies #s 1-4 for around $15.

Avengers Standoff Assault on Pleasant Hill Omega: 1st Appearance of Avril Kincaid as Quasar

About a year before Disney (temporarily) fired James Gunn in 2018, Gunn tweeted about a Quasar VCR brand. Because Gunn was working on the script of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at the time and because the Wendell Vaughn version of the character is a member of the team in the comics, many investors flocked to his key issues. There's a chance, however, that his tweet was an attempt at misdirection and we actually see the Phyla-Vell or Avril Kincaid versions of Quasar instead.

Phyla-Vell's first appearance in Captain Marvel #17 has also shot up in value; however, Avril Kincaid's first appearance in Avengers Standoff on Pleasant Hill Omega is downright inexpensive. In fact, I recently found a NM copy in a dollar bin.

On eBay, NM raw copies are selling for less than $10. If you can get it for less than that, I personally think that's a good entry point with minimal risk.
