Haunt #8Media Release -- The Todd McFarlane Productions team has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on some top-notch comic books for you to enjoy in the heat of the summer months. So, get to the comic store and pick up these new titles to read while lounging by the pool.

At last, the wait is finally over! Haunt #8 and Spawn #198 are set to hit shelves, Wednesday, July 28th.

The highly anticipated 8th issue of Haunt focuses on Daniel's unexpected career change, and his education on using the new power Kurt instilled in him. Also new to this issue is inker Jonathan Glapion (Batman, Ultimate X-Men), who stepped in to assist veteran artist, Todd McFarlane. "Todd was a major influence for me, which sparked my interest in comics," Glapion remarked. "Being able to start my career with Todd McFarlane Productions was more than I could have ever imagined. To call Greg Capullo simply a penciler seems more of an insult to me. Greg is an amazing all around artist and true professional. His work has so much character and energy. When Todd asked if I'd help with Haunt I was I was honored and humbled. It felt a bit like going home, always a good place to be. This book is just flat out fun to look at and work on. Digitally inking Greg with Todd is a blast and a flexible process. Now I just have to remember not to dip my Wacom pen in my ink." Jonathan continues his run with the artistic dream team with Haunt #9, releasing August 25th.

Releasing alongside Haunt #8, Spawn #198 entrenches the reader back into Jim's boundless search for his identity. However, a new player brings Jim much more information than he bargained for, becoming a deadly exchange. Penciler Khary Randolph (X-Men, Hellboy) joins the artist ranks for this month's fill in issue. "Working on Spawn was like a dream come true for me," said Randolph. "As a kid who spent the majority of his formative years eating up Todd McFarlane and Image comic books, to later being given the opportunity to work with him and create those same books is a huge honor. I was proud to be a part of this."
