With so many different MCU projects out there and comics to choose from, it can be tough to find investment opportunities that are still affordable and likely to generate a profit.  Fortunately, we here at GoCollect have you covered!

Echo

Sleeper Picks For Every Upcoming MCU Project, Part 4

Pick: Phoenix Song: Echo #1

Reasoning: This is Echo's first solo title, making it a fairly reliable book to invest in as Echo becomes more important in both the MCU and the comics.  Absent greater details about the show, this is one of the few safe picks out there for investors.

House of Harkness

Sleeper Picks For Every Upcoming MCU Project, Part 4

Pick: Avengers Vol. 1 #186, the first full appearance of Chthon

Reasoning: Dr. Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness confirmed that Chthon exists in the MCU and was the source of the Darkhold's power.  Given how important the Darkhold is to Agatha's history, it would not be surprising if the infamous demon made an appearance on the show.

Marvel Zombies

Sleeper Picks For Every Upcoming MCU Project, Part 4

Pick: Marvel Zombies Vol. 6 #1

Reasoning: This phenomenal series stars Elsa Bloodstone as she fights her way through the zombie wastelands of the battleworld created by Dr. Doom during Secret Wars.  Given the strong speculation interest in Elsa and the MCU seemingly building towards Secret Wars, this book has a lot of different ways to turn a profit for investors.

Loki Season 2

Pick: Thor Vol. 1 #617, the first appearance of Kid Loki

Reasoning: Given how important Kid Loki was to the second volume of Young Avengers and how phenomenal of a character he is, I do not believe we have seen the last of him.

What If? Season 2

Sleeper Picks For Every Upcoming MCU Project, Part 4

Pick: Captain Marvel Vol. 1 #39, the origin of Uatu and the first appearance of Aron the Rogue Watcher

Reasoning: The second season of What If? represents a key opportunity for the MCU to flesh out Uatu as a character and thereby elevate the value of his origin books.  Furthermore, the MCU loves to create villains that are dark reflections of the heroes, a paradigm that Aron fits perfectly.

Daredevil

Pick: Daredevil Vol. 5 #1 1:100 Quesada Variant

Reasoning: Daredevil is being rebooted in large part because of how much fans loved Charlie Cox's interpretation of the character.  As a direct result, books like this, which directly invoke that interpretation, represent really solid investments.

Deadpool 3

Pick: Wolverine Vol. 2 #88, the first meeting of Deadpool and Wolverine

Reasoning: Details about Deadpool 3 remain incredibly scant, but this book is actually a really logical investment opportunity.  One of the biggest running jokes of the Deadpool films is the eponymous character's fixation on Wolverine, specifically the Hugh Jackman incarnation of the character.  Jackman has previously expressed interest in returning to the role if it were in the MCU and, even if he does not, the odds are still fairly decent that Deadpool will encounter Wolverine in the MCU somewhere down the line.  It may not necessarily be in Deadpool 3, but it will still probably happen.

One More MCU Sleeper Pick

Pick 1: Secret War #2, the first appearance of Quake

Reasoning: With the recent appearances of Charlie Cox's Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk / Kingpin in Hawkeye, and Anson Mount's Black Bolt in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, it has become clear that Marvel Studios is willing to bring back characters and actors from television shows produced by Marvel TV.  With that in mind, investors may want to start looking at other Marvel TV characters that could possibly make the jump to the movie side.

Few books better represent this opportunity (especially given the price point) than Secret War #2, the first appearance of Daisy Johnson, a.k.a. Quake.  Chloe Bennett's interpretation of the character on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was a big hit with fans and the character has an impressive number of appearances under her belt despite having only existed for a relatively short period of time.

Conclusion

That's all I got folks!  I hope you enjoyed this article series and let me know in the comments if you would like to see more content like this.  There are a lot of lesser-known books out there that I think have tremendous potential for the MCU.  So, until next time, Face Front, True Believers!

Don't miss parts 1-3!
