With so many different MCU projects out there and comics to choose from, it can be tough to find investment opportunities that are still affordable and likely to generate a profit. Fortunately, we here at GoCollect have you covered!
Thor: Love and Thunder
Pick: War of the Realms Omega #1 SDCC Variant, the first appearance of Jane Foster as a Valkyrie.
Reasoning: This book typically sells for at least double the value of the A cover, even though the only difference is that the Punisher is not wearing a helmet.
Jane Foster as Valkyrie clearly has a future in the comics (so this book is not likely to lose value) and it would not be particularly surprising to see the MCU go this route as well.

Ms. Marvel
Pick: Ms. Marvel Vol. 4 #1 Frison Hip Hop Variant
Reasoning: The Hip Hop variants almost always sell well in general, let alone when they are connected to an MCU property.
Investors should feel especially confident knowing that this variant was created by Jenny Frisson, one of the hottest comic book artists out there right now.
There are currently 121 books registered in the CGC census. Of those, 37 are 9.8s and 38 are 9.6s. The most recent sale of a 9.8 realized $174.99 (May, 2022). Other recent sales brought in $290 (Feb, 2022) and $262.77 (Oct, 2022). All three sales were through eBay.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
Pick: She-Hulk Vol. 1 #1, the start of the seminal She-Hulk run with many first appearances
Reasoning: Nearly every detail released about this tv show thus far, including its meta nature, comedic sensibilities, and focus on superhero law, strongly evokes the run started by this book.
If any of the numerous characters who first appeared in this book show up in the show, investors could be in for a sizable payday.

Untitled Marvel Halloween Special
Pick: Legion of Monsters Vol. 2 #1, the first appearance of the new Legion of Monsters
Reasoning: Extremely few details have been released about this project other than the inclusion of Werewolf by Night and rumors of Elsa Bloodstone appearing, so take this pick with a grain of salt.
This book marks one of the handfuls of times that Elsa ever crossed paths with Werewolf By Night, giving some strong potential value as more details about the project come out.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Pick:  Black Panther Vol. 5 #1 Djurdjevic 70th Anniversary Variant, the first appearance of Shuri as Black Panther
Reasoning: This book marks the first time Shuri became Black Panther and features Namor on the cover.
Since both of these elements are expected to appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, this book has a strong chance to generate returns for owners.

Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Pick: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 #5, Angela’s first full appearance in the Marvel Universe
Reasoning: There is a common sentiment in the speculation community that Thor: Love and Thunder is Angela’s only logical opportunity to appear in the MCU.
Given that at least half of her Marvel appearances have involved the Guardians of the Galaxy, that sentiment seems highly misguided.

I thought Black panther vol 5 #1 was a cover appearance of Shuri as black panther, with her not appearing in story until #5. Therefore the variant with Namor on the cover wouldn’t tick both boxes?
You know what, you are right, that’s my bad, thank you for pointing out the error. Still, I believe the book is a solid investment because it’s hard to find in higher grades and it’s one of namor’s few good looking variants. Add in the fact that it’s a black Panther book he is appearing on and the result is still a quality investment
Just collect all 12 of the DJURDJEVIC 70TH ANNIVERSARY white variant set. Fun tracking them all down cheap and hold..
