Media Release -- SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Save the Titanic Foundation (http://www.savethetitanic.org) announced the completion of the Save the Titanic Foundation's needled crafted work of art and cover of the Save the Titanic Foundation's limited edition comic book. Zeljko "Z" Srdic, of Serbia, was hand picked from thousands of artists worldwide on the commissioned piece. "Z" states, "I enjoyed every single second in creating this piece and cover. I worked on it for over a year. I used needle. While I was working on it, James Horner soundtrack was on, and I thought about all those people who were on board. What a tragedy. I hope that this project will spawn more interest on this tragic event. Save The Titanic Foundation gave me an opportunity to be part of the history and I am proud of it."

The Save the Titanic Foundation's painting and comic book is based upon the phenomena of the Armand Hammer Titanic masterpiece, as told in the book, "The Index: A Road Map" and lead to the founding of the Save the Titanic Foundation.

Kevin D. Finn, founding member and Co-Chairman of the Save the Titanic Foundation said, "The foundation's cause, in Saving the Titanic, is always about the American dreams that perished with the ship that we are all living today. It is also about a sense of 'Liberty for All.'" Preska Thomas, founding member and Co-Chairman continues, "The Titanic Foundation's underlying message is that of hope, we all raise the Titanic in each and every one of us when we get up out of bed in the morning. Over 11 million individuals from around the world have already expressed their interests for the preservation of the Titanic." Kevin concludes, "We continue to be humbled at how the Titanic unites people on a global level, bridging the gap between race, nationality and creed. "Z" is a steward of his craft, "Z" painted this with needles; his attention to detail will go down in the history books. Despite working with an artist as far away as Serbia from the United States we share a common brotherhood."
