We're happy to announce that talented writer/artist Roger Langridge (Snarked, Popeye) is donating to our Fourth Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event! This is the second year we've been lucky enough to have him on board.
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund defends the First Amendment Rights of comics creators, publishers, and retailers, covering needed legal expenses against unfair charges. It's a cause that's more important today than ever before, and TFAW is proud to have helped raise more than $75,000 in the past three years.
Langridge's delightful title with Boom! Studios, Snarked, has been delighting readers of all ages, and his take on the classic Popeye series from IDW is truly fantastic. Check out this year's Snarked sketch, above right, as well as his contribution from 2011, below.
While the original will go to the CBLDF's annual auction at SDCC, TFAW will be turning every sketch from this event into free, limited-edition autograph cards that we will be distributing at SDCC this year.
