Diamond DistributionMedia Release -- PREVIEWS, the Comic Shop's Catalog™ published monthly by Diamond Comic Distributors and available at comic book specialty shops worldwide, is going digital starting with its April 2013 issue.

A monthly "mag-a-log" (a hybrid catalog and magazine) featuring 400+ pages on the top comics, graphic novels, toys and pop-culture merchandise coming to comic book specialty shops, PREVIEWS is a must-read for comic book and pop-culture fans, as well as the #1 tool for ordering comics and merchandise.

"There are a lot of comic shop customers who are looking for one source on what's upcoming for comics and pop-culture merchandise," said Dan Manser, Diamond's Director of Marketing. "Fans can visit various internet websites, read a press release on new items, but only PREVIEWS can bring it all together. And now customers who prefer a digital format for their information can turn again to PREVIEWS as their trusted source for product information."

Starting with the April 2013 issue, PREVIEWS will be available both as a print version and a digital version from comic book specialty shops on its release date. Each digital version will include the PREVIEWS catalog, as well as the separate Marvel PREVIEWS Supplement for a complete review of comic books, graphic novels, and pop-culture merchandise that can be pre-ordered for the month.

Customers who choose to purchase a print version of PREVIEWS for $4.50 can get a digital "Print-Plus" version for an additional 99 cents, while customers who want a digital-only copy will pay $3.99 for the monthly issue. Back issues of PREVIEWS, starting with the August 2012 issue, will also be available.

Customers can purchase PREVIEWS Digital one of two ways: In store, or through their shop's online digital comics store. After purchasing, customers receive a digital download code that can be redeemed through the Digital Comics Reader App which is available for multiple platforms, including iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile devices as well as for online viewing. To download the app, visit www.digitalcomicsreader.com for more information.

"As we begin this digital transition," Manser added, "we hope to provide PREVIEWS readers and comic shop fans with as many tools as possible for accessing content and information on upcoming comics, graphic novels and pop-culture merchandise. We look forward to our customer's feedback on the new PREVIEWS Digital, and we also welcome ideas for new ways of connecting digitally with readers and fans in the future."
