June 2011 PREVIEWSMedia Release -- The June edition of Diamond Comic Distributors' PREVIEWS catalog arrives in comic shops, hobby stores, and other direct market outlets on June 1 and features comic books, graphic novels, toys, and additional pop culture products scheduled to go on sale beginning August 2011.

The front cover of the June PREVIEWS is dedicated to Dark Horse Comics' ANGEL & FAITH #1, the much-anticipated debut of the new ongoing series that picks up where Buffy Season 8 left off. Written by Christos Gage and illustrated by Rebekah Isaacs, the new title finds Angel seeking ways to atone for his ill-conceived misdeeds ... and the only person who may be able to help him do that is Faith. Readers who enjoyed the original TV Buffy and the comic titles that continued the supernatural action won't want to miss this new story featuring two of the mythos' most popular characters.

June 2011 PREVIEWSOn the back cover, DC Comics/Vertigo presents a thrilling new chapter in the FABLES saga with FABLES: WEREWOLVES OF THE HEARTLAND. This original graphic novel for mature readers – written by series creator Bill Willingham and illustrated by Jim Fern, Craig Hamilton, and Ray Snyder – follows Bigby Wolf as he searches for a new location for Fabletown. Then, he walks into a small town that seems to be populated by mysterious werewolves who recognize and admire him. But when they also capture and cage him, the stage is set for a confrontation that no Fables fan will be able to put down.
