The front cover of the July PREVIEWS showcases DC Comics’ JUSTICE LEAGUE #1, the highly publicized introduction to the New DC Universe launching in September. Befitting a book that tells the tale of what led Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and The Flash to form this super-team, the debut issue comes from two industry giants – writer Geoff Johns and artist Jim Lee. DC is also offering this comic in a special combo pack edition, featuring a polybagged copy along with a redemption code for a digital download of the issue.

For years, writer Ron Marz and artist Stjepan Sejic have guided the life of Detective Sara Pezzini, the bearer of the Witchblade, exploring how the supernatural weapon is both a gift and a curse. Now their definitive run on the title comes to an end in a story that may see Pezzini finally forced to choose between her life as a detective and continuing on with the Witchblade.
