Registration Statement Declared Effective by the Securities Exchange Commission

Los Angeles, CA – January 10, 2008 – Platinum Studios, Inc., an entertainment company that controls an independent library of comic book characters from all over the world, today announced that the company’s SB-2 registration statement has been declared effective by the Securities Exchange Commissions (SEC).

The company’s CEO, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, said, “We are very pleased that our registration statement has been declared effective and that we are a public company. We can now turn our energies and focus to producing great comic book entertainment in print, for the web, for mobile and for film and television.”.
