LOS ANGELES, November 04, 2008 - Platinum Studios, Inc. (OTCBB: PDOS), an entertainment company that controls an international library of more than 5,600 comic book characters which it adapts, produces and licenses for all forms of media, announced today that Dean Stackel, SVP, Strategic Partnerships at Yahoo! Inc. and Rob Kenneally, Senior Packaging Agent at one of the industry's leading talent agencies have joined Platinum's Board of Advisors.

Dean Stackel manages a team that handles Yahoo!'s largest strategic partnerships as well as Yahoo!'s search deals and transactions that cut across Yahoo!'s vast internet businesses. Prior to his current role, Stackel ran the business development team for the Yahoo! Publisher Network and was personally involved with some of Yahoo!'s most significant partnerships. "We believe that having Dean join our Advisory Board will allow us to explore much broader opportunities in the digital space," said Brian Altounian, Platinum's President and Chief Operating Officer. "We hope his guidance and support will have a significant and powerful impact on our digital initiatives, which include Wowio, our eBook distribution company."

Rob Kenneally has been an agent in the television industry for over 15 years. In addition to functioning in all areas of television, including network and off-network packaging, he has been instrumental in helping clients, broadcasters, cable networks, and marketers explore new marketing models. Kenneally has served in several executive positions including President of Television for Rysher Entertainment and Executive Vice President of the Fox Broadcasting Company where he was integral in the launching of such popular television programming as The Simpsons, Beverly Hills 90210, In Living Color, and Married...With Children. "With the landscape of television evolving and expanding so rapidly, we believe that having Rob's expertise in television marketing and consumer brand management will provide us with the kind of firepower that can accelerate our efforts in expanding our brands in the television space," said Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, Platinum's Chairman and CEO.

Platinum originally announced the creation of the Advisory Board last month which included a list of Hollywood heavy hitters including producer Gale Anne Hurd (The Incredible Hulk, Terminator, Punisher: War Zone); former Chairman of Sony Pictures, Mark Canton; former Marvel Studios exec Michael Helfant; and former President of Viacom Worldwide Consumer Products, Andrea Hein, among others. "The Advisory Board that we have put together is unique in that every member is assisting us on specific projects that further our business - this is not your typical situation where the Advisors just lend their name - we expect Rob and Dean to contribute greatly to those efforts as well," said Rosenberg.
