Pittsburgh ComiconMedia Release -- We just wanted to pass along one last "Thank You" to all the artists, retailers and fans that made the Pittsburgh Comicon 2011 great!! Due to your generosity, we raised over $22,000 for Charity during the three days of the Comicon, including money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Hero Initiative, The CBLDF and Angels Under the Stars. Also due to your contributions the Central Blood Bank of Western PA exceeded their unit goal in their very first appearance at the Comicon. Thank you to everyone that gave blood at the 2011 Pittsburgh Comicon.

We already have some BIG plans for 2012 including the already announced appearance of J. Scott Campbell, but that is just the tip of the iceberg for our plans for 2012!

The first thing you should know about the 2012 show is that the dates that were printed in the Program Book were WRONG, the 2012 show is actually a week earlier than we had announced. The official dates of 2012 are April 20, 21 and 22!!

We are in the process of a complete rehaul of the convention website, but once we have finished the renovations, we will let you know so you can keep up with all the upcoming news about the 2012 Pittsburgh Comicon.

In the mean time, if you are looking for a Comic Shop to visit for this coming Saturday's FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, why not swing past Comicon H.Q.?
