Heritage's Art of Anime auction is a terrific source for animation collectors. The auctions feature cells from both Japanese and American animated shows, but they also sometimes feature unique collectibles that aren't animation cells. Much like Heritage's weekly comic auctions, this auction also features memorabilia that no collector should overlook! Some items are a bit strange, but in the world of collectibles, nothing is too strange.

Huckleberry Hound Oversized Head Display

With Halloween right around the corner, this haunting Huckleberry Hound head could be the best costume or display piece any enthusiast might own.

Huckleberry Hound was Hanna-Barbera's second show and helped bring the studio the attention it deserved. Heritage notes this as being hand-painted and was likely displayed at a theme park. This piece was not a part of a walk-around costume, as the head is open in the back.

The Hanna-Barbera characters were featured in many regional theme parks, such as Kings Island in Ohio, Kings Dominion in Virginia, and Wonderland in Canada. This piece is in fair condition but still displays well.

McDonald's Officer Big Mac, Grimace, and Fry Kids Wall Plaques

McDonald's memorabilia is popular with a number of collectors due to its status as an American icon and the feelings of nostalgia one might get from these items.

This set of two wall plaques -- featuring the McDonaldland characters Officer Big Mac, Grimace, and the Fry Kids, were displayed in a McDonald's restaurant 1970s and 1980s. Created by Setmakers -- who also helped create the first kids' play area, McDonaldland Playland -- these handmade plaques are truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Setmakers items tend to be a hit with collectors, with fans bidding high on items when they become available. While the McDonaldland cast may not be as prominent today, they still hold a spot in pop culture history, as well as our fast food-loving hearts. Heritage notes these are in Good condition with some wear.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas Prosthetic Noses

How the Grinch Stole Christmas has been a holiday tradition for decades. The book, originally by Dr. Seuss, spawned a popular cartoon adaptation, and then in 2000 Universal Studios brought the book to life. The live-action adaptation -- starring Jim Carrey as the Grinch -- is one of the most celebrated holiday movies of all time. The characters from the live-action film make appearances in Universal theme parks around the world, with the Grinch being one of the most popular character meet and greets in any theme park.

The movie gave special care and attention to bringing every single Who of Whoville to life through the process of makeup, clever costumes, and of course prosthetics. The nose pieces for the Who is probably the most well-known piece from the movies, and now you can own your own set of prosthetic Who noses -- worn by Clint Howard -- who portrayed Whobris in the film.

While it's not known if these wound up in the movie or were just prop tests, they are still a unique part of cinema history. Heritage notes these as being in Very Good condition.
