Amazing Spider-Man #583 with Barack Obama

When Barack Obama released a list of 10 little-known facts about himself, who knew that his comic book collection would take center stage? After naming Spider-Man and Batman as his favorite heroes, Marvel Comics decided to honor the President-elect by placing him on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #583 and featuring him in his own six-page story, co-starring your friendly neighborhood Webhead!

When an impostor tries to infiltrate Obama’s swearing-in ceremony, Spider-Man must fight one of his greatest enemies–while getting some choice shots as Peter Parker, photographer for the Daily Bugle. This bonus story, written by Zeb Wells and with art by Todd Nauck and Frank D’Armata, is already selling out, but you can pre-order it here at TFAW.com.

This is sure to be a collector’s item commemorating a historic event, so we are limiting Amazing Spider-Man #583 to just two copies per customer. This ships January 21, the day after the inauguration, so order now to make sure you get your copy!
