Post Civil War, Ricadonna Returns in Heroes for Hire #4

After the Civil War action of the last three issues, the Heroes for Hire don’t have a second to catch their breath as Ricadonna, the criminal mastermind and prolific enemy of Misty Knight and Colleen Wing, escapes from prison in Heroes for Hire #4.

Ricadonna, last seen slicing her way through Wing and Knight, (literally, as Ricadonna sliced off Misty’s bionic arm) is back and ready to get her revenge on the entire Heroes for Hire. Up first: the team’s most mysterious member Tarantula is targeted for death!

Plus, Shang Chi leads an investigation into Skrull organ transplants and the mysterious corporation behind them. But has the Master of Kung Fu gotten in over his head?

Adam White of Comiccritique.com calls Heroes for Hire, “pretty much everything I hoped it would be, providing laughs, thrills, mystery, and martial arts…Regardless of what genres or series you like, definitely check out Heroes for Hire because you’ll get a kick out of it no matter what.”

For more action, explosions, and kung-fu than should legally be allowed in one comic book, check out Heroes for Hire #4.

Re-Examining a Classic in X-Factor #13

One of the most memorable moments in comics is being revisited in X-Factor #13. Entitled “Re-X-Aminations,” this issue returns the members of X-Factor to the place where they took their toughest hits and showed their true colors- Doc Samson’s office, as last shown in X-Factor #87. This issue also reunites the two creators of that landmark issue as Joe Quesada, the penciler of X-Factor #87, returns once more to the drawing board to bring fans this special 50/50 variant cover to X-Factor #13. Don’t miss out on a turning point in the team’s future as this blast from the past rocks the title once more!

Plus, this issue features the stunning debut of new series-regular artist Pablo Raimondi (MADROX). If anyone who read the previous series isn’t reading the current one, this is the issue to bring them on board!

New Marvel Trailer Featuring Punisher War Journal

Frank Castle is back in the Marvel Universe and unlike others who’ve tip-toed the line between anti and pro-registration, Frank is diving right into the Civil War starting in the all-new ongoing series Punisher War Journal #1. Frank’s not likely to have second thoughts about his role: those who deserve punishment will pay…and the sentence is death.

Written by Matt Fraction with Young Guns: Reloaded artist Ariel Olivetti, Punisher War Journal ties directly into Civil War # 5 and guarantees to change the tide of the war. What is Frank’s plan? How will he affect this war? Only he knows and we’re too scared to ask!
