February 07, 2008, Runnemede, NJ - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT today released images and information announcing the next issue of their all-new SCI-FI series BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: SEASON ZERO #10.

Dynamite's hit new Battlestar series made its debut with issue #0 as part of the Dynamite's Free Comic Book Day Flip Book, which featured a new story and art of the very first missions of the Battlestar Galactica and her crew, including Commander Adama, Starbuck, Apollo, and more.

The countdown has begun! Dynamite's 12 issue "season" of New Battlestar Galactica: Season Zero races towards its apocalyptic conclusion as the final story arc begins!

Under the guiding hand of writer Brandon Jerwa, joined by artist Jackson Herbert, "Season Zero" has been praised for continuing the "unseen" stories of the Galactica Universe. Now, with issue #10, things are racing towards a dramatic conclusion as the events of the past 9 issues hurtle the crew towards what is now know as the "cylon apocalypse" (as seen in the re-imagined mini-series) and the reasons for the decommissioning of the Galactica are about to be revealed!

"Even with the release of the excellent 'Razor' movie and the Dynamite comics, the hunger for new Galactica goodness remains. That's not a bad thing! We're doing our level best to deliver the goods, and issue #10 will be no exception. As we head into the final lap of our 12-issue story, the action will definitely be cranked up several notches with Starbuck's sense of destiny, the Human Model Cylon recruitment plan and a new revolution rising from the ashes of the one that preceded it. Things can only get rougher from here on out." - BSG: Season Zero writer, Brandon Jerwa

Wizarduniverse.com's "Thursday Morning Quarterback" column reviewed and recognized BSG: Season Zero's relationship to the Sci-Fi Channel's show by stating, "Writers strike? In between seasons? Dynamite's 'Season Zero' of BSG is making those arguments for not having new shows to enjoy pretty irrelevant. Okay, text on the page is no substitute for the gravelly domineering voice of Edward James Olmos, but Jerwa has got the show's recognizable plot beats down and delivers characterization that can fill that hole a lack of new TV has left in your couch-potato heart. So, brush the crumbs off your favorite sofa cushion, put down the remote and pick up an issue of BSG: Season Zero in your best impression of Kyle Gass from the end of The Cable Guy, because waiting untill April for new episodes is just too damn long-especially when there're comics to be read!"

Season Zero will serve as a prequel to the hit SCI FI television show with a story that takes place two years prior to the television mini-series (2003) that re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. In these early days of the Galactica under Adama's command, a mystery is unfolding across the Galaxy that has deadly implications for the human race!
