Dirk Schwieger premieres new book of his adventures in Japan; he obeyed readers’ orders to live the Japanese way -- and explain it.

“What a fun idea” -- Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Neverwhere)
“A hell of a lot of fun to read, and a great idea for a comics/journal blog” -- Evan Dorkin (Milk & Cheese, Bill & Ted’s Most Excellent Adventures)

These stars of the comics world are talking about Moresukine: Uploaded Weekly from Tokyo by Dirk Schwieger. Until recently, Schwieger lived in Tokyo, and readers of his comics blog dared him to do all sorts of things—exotic, disgusting, revealing, whatever—and he did! His fascinating, funny, funky collection of his blog entries looks inside Japanese society, life, thought, and food.

NBM Publishing is premiering the book at Comic-Con International: San Diego, with Schwieger in attendance -- all the way from his home in Germany. It’s a rare chance for fans to meet an artist whose exploits have brought him worldwide fame. He will appear at NBM’s booth, #1528 in the convention’s exhibit hall, between the Small Press Pavilion and the Gold and Silver Age Pavilion.
