Disney's Investor Day for Marvel comics revealed the upcoming future for many character properties. The video presentation was narrated by Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios and Chief Creative Officer (CCO). One news that is confirmed by the presentation is the introduction of Kamala Khan. Rumors of her joining the MCU have been in a frenzy for quite some time. Marvel confirmed that Khan, also as known as Ms. Marvel, would be getting her own Disney Plus television show in the upcoming future. In addition, she would be making her theatrical debut possibly in Captain Marvel 2, starring Brie Larson as Captain M. Lastly, a trailer of the show was released with Iman Vellani playing the title role. There has not been much confirmed for the show for the plot and the supporting cast at the moment. Below are possible key issues that could provide insight on who and what could appear in the television series.

First Key Issue

The first key issue that is well-known is Ms. Marvel #1(Vol. 3). This issue is very important for many reasons and it has gone as far as seven printings.  The 7th print is very scarce and it commands a high price on the resale market. A CGC 9.8 graded copy recently sold for $306 on eBay on December 1, 2020. In addition, issues going that far in printings show how popular her debut is. Lastly, this is the first solo titled series featuring Ms. M, Kamala Khan. The previous series in 1977 and 2006 starred Captain Marvel.

Another important detail of this issue depicts the first appearance of Josh Richardson. He is a character that is recurring and actually transforms into the villain Discord in Ms. Marvel #19. So the possibility of playing Kamala's ally in the show is a consideration and possibly turning into a villain as the show progresses.

Red Dagger

One issue that is catching a ton of heat is Ms. Marvel #12. This issue details the first appearance of Red Dagger. This character is a Pakistani Viligante and shares the same ethnic background as Kamala. Rumors as early as February 2020 believe Red Dagger could be appearing in the show.

Ms. Meets Captain

I believe another undervalued issue involving Kamala Khan is Ms. Marvel #17 (Vol. 3). To my knowledge, this issue reveals the first meeting between Ms. M and Captain Marvel. So the expectation of these characters seeing each other in the MCU is already confirmed in Captain Marvel 2. This is important since Kamala's idol is Captain Marvel. So it will be very interesting if the show details Kamala's devotion to him.

Amulet

Lastly, in the current series, there is another issue that could introduce another possible hero linked to our heroine. Magnificent Ms. Marvel #13 details the first appearance of Amulet. This hero is a magical Arab-American of Muslim descent. This is a strong consideration since Marvel wants to diversify its character lineup. Amulet, also known by his real name, Fadi Fadlallah. Fadi sports fiery blue hair who wears an amulet on his chest and it provides his magical powers in vanishing monsters.
