The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will be introducing many new faces this year, and I do not mean just heroes. Recently, an article revealed a possible glimpse of the future. The glimpse is possibly revealing the next set of villains to enter the MCU. Marvel Studios is gearing up for a wonderful 2021 with the release of many movies and television shows. There is the belief that the sleuth of properties coming out this year is due to the pandemic delay. Shows coming out in 2021 include Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, and Ms. Marvel. Movies such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, and Spider-Man 3 are expected to come out this year as well.

Since 2006, Hasbro has partnered in introducing action figures for Marvel that pertain to the future of the MCU. Many of the figurines they have brought out to their toy line as appeared in the MCU. Figures such as Scarlet Witch, Hulkbuster Iron Man, and Ultron. Though they have released many action figures for Marvel, the question relates to when will the character appear in the MCU.

Dr. Doom

It has been noted that Dr. Doom has appeared in the Marvel action line for toys several times. Though the rumors of the Fantastic Four joining the MCU and the X-Men (Mutants) coming in the rearview mirror are heating up his potential premiere. To me, this reveal of his action figure could be the last time for collectors to obtain any Dr. Doom-related material before it soars. His main issues are expensive, dependent on which book you want, but it is nothing compared to what it will be once he is confirmed to make an appearance.

Alpha Flight

Another figure that Hasbro has revealed is Lady Deathstrike. Lady Deathstrike, otherwise known as Yuriko Oyama, is a villain known to have a personal vendetta against the X-Men and Wolverine. The reveal of this character could mean that the introduction of either the X-Men or Wolverine could be coming very soon to the MCU. It is possible that they link her to the heroes as a possible future foe. Yuriko's first appearance is in Daredevil #197 and her first appearance as Lady Deathstrike is in Alpha Flight #33. Her ties to Wolverine and the X-Men make it very possible that she could join the MCU in the near future.

The Hood

Lastly, one character that could be entering the MCU is The Hood. The Hood, also known as Parker Robbins, is a thief and villain that has ties to many prominent Marvel characters. Robbins wears a magical cloak and boots that provide him the ability to walk on air. The Hood has a level of thirst in forming super-villain groups with the intent to taking down heroes such as Doctor Strange, The Punisher, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron man, and Hawkeye. In addition, he also has many ties with villains such as Doctor Doom, Dormammu, Loki, Norman Osborn, and Namor.

All of these villains are highly regarded as being in the MCU or rumored to join very soon. Lastly, there is a rumor last year that he could be the villain in the upcoming Hawkeye Disney Plus show. The Hood is an ideal character to joining the MCU  with many ties to several Marvel characters. Parker Hobbins first appeared in The Hood #1 (2002).
