Middle East Film & Comic ConMedia Release -- Middle East Film and Comic Con, the first pop culture and entertainment event in the region is back on track for the weekend of April 20 2012.

After a year of trials and tribulations, ExtraCake P.R.A., organisers of the long anticipated event are announcing the long awaited new dates and location for 2012, "Everyone, us included, can breathe a sigh of relief now because we are back on track for 2012 with a new location in Dubai," commented a clearly jubilant Ben Caddy, Managing Director of ExtraCake P.R.A. "Sure the hard part is just starting as we get closer to the show, but this is going to be like nothing Middle East fans have experienced here before!"

Mina Seyahi Hall at the Dubai International Marine Club is set to host the premiere Film and Comic Con in the region, with celebrity signings, panels and workshops, some of the worlds leading entertainment companies exhibiting and activities for film, TV, comics, anime, manga, collectables and more!

Caddy was quick to reiterate that the event was first-and-foremost for the fans, to build a platform for the talent in the region to shine, "It's always been about the fans and as fans ourselves we're delighted to be back on track, The amount of interest and passion that we have seen as we've been putting this event together has been inspiring and that's driven us to persevere and get the show back on the road," he added.

Ticket sales have also been announced, with single day tickets and weekend tickets priced at AED 55 and AED 100 respectively. Limited, AED 500 VIP tickets will also be available on a first come first served basis offering a host of add-ons including early bird access, autographs, memorabilia and front-of-line access to meet international and regional guests.
