Media Release -- Spider-Man! Iron Man! Captain America! For the first time ever, these legendary heroes come to life with Marvel ArtWorks -- new, fine art, limited edition prints by iconic illustrators like Jack Kirby, Alex Ross, Jim Lee and many others. Reproduced directly from the Marvel Archives by Los Angeles-based illustration gallery, Every Picture Tells A Story, these prints make their debut at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International and at a gallery event on July 29 in Santa Monica.

Ranging from classic Fantastic Four covers to dramatic contemporary portrayals of Silver Surfer and the X-Men, these eye-popping giclée prints offer collectors and fans an opportunity to see comic book art as it has never been viewed before.

The first release of images from Marvel ArtWorks will be on display at the Every Picture Tells A Story Comic-Con Booth #4713 during the San Diego convention, July 22-26. In addition, the Every Picture Tells A Story booth will feature art from effects master Ray Harryhausen, author Ray Bradbury and from the 1933 KING KONG.

On July 29, beginning at 5:30 PM, the Every Picture Tells A Story gallery in Santa Monica, California presents a reception and exhibit to introduce the Marvel ArtWorks line. A host of stellar guests from the comic book and film world will be present, including THE DARK KNIGHT producer, Michael Uslan; Jack Kirby biographer and comic book historian Mark Evanier; and Marvel artist Glen Orbik. Following the reception, the American Cinematheque’s Aero Theatre (across the street from the gallery) will screen the new documentary, THE LEGENDS BEHIND THE COMIC BOOKS and host an all-star panel discussion.

Every Picture Tells A Story... is located at 1311-C Montana Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90403, by phone at (310) 451-2700 and online at everypicture.com. Marvel ArtWorks can also be viewed at marvelartworks.com.
