The second printing of Gemstone Publishing’s highly praised The Life & Times of Scrooge of Scrooge McDuck has sold out from the publisher and Diamond Comic Distributors. The trade paperback collection features writer-artist Don Rosa’s epic saga of the great historic events in the life of Scrooge McDuck, the Walt Disney character created by the late master artist Carl Barks.

“When we released the first printing of this book, we overprinted drastically and expected that supply to last until this point. Now we’ve had to go through two printings in that same time and there is clearly a demand for more,” said John Clark, Gemstone’s Editor-in-Chief for the Disney line.

Gemstone plans to go back to press with this book in the late spring. In the meantime, the equally lauded sequel, The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck Companion, is still available. It contains the pre-chapters and in-between-chapters of Don Rosa's Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck. Along with classic Rosa adventures like “Hearts of the Yukon” and “Vigilante of Pizen Bluff,” this volume includes the all-new, long-awaited Klondike epic “Prisoner of White Agony Creek!” The vintage prequel "Of Ducks and Dimes and Destinies" is included as well.

The Diamond Comic Distributors item code for The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck Companion is JUN063129. The ISBN is 978-1-888472-40-0.

A limited number of recently discovered first printing editions of Life & Times are available from Gemstone on a single copy basis for $25 each.
