Media Release -- IDW is proud to announce that it was nominated for a total of 17 awards for the annual industry-wide Diamond Gem Awards in multiple categories, including 2017 Comic Book Publisher of the Year as well as Game Manufacturer of the Year. This makes IDW the only company to be represented in both of those prestigious categories.
Awarded by Diamond Comics Distributors, the world's largest distributor of English-language comics, graphic novels, and pop-culture related merchandise, the Gem Awards are recognized within the comic book industry as a pinnacle of achievement for publishers, selected by a panel of Diamond product specialists based on sales performance and quality.
Other coveted categories IDW was recognized for include 2017 Comic Book of the Year (in both the over and under $3.99 categories), 2017 Licensed Comic of the Year, 2017 Best New Comic Book Series, 2017 Original Graphic Novel of the Year, and many more.
