On the Comic Book dashboard of GoCollect is the Hottest Comics list. This list is broken down by comic age and ranks the top 100 hottest-selling comics (both graded and raw) on eBay. Each week, Matt Tuck analyzes the biggest movers and shakers of the list, but this blog recognizes the top 5 sellers in each age. Can you guess the top seller before you read it?
Before we dive in, I want to emphasize that these numbers are accurate as of the time of my writing this piece, which is at around noon on 9/12. Numbers can shift quickly in this biz, so don’t assume these will be the top 5 tomorrow. Well, except for Spawn #1 – does it ever move down the list?
This is NOT the Hottest Comics blog – that blog is based on the comics making the biggest moves up and down. This one is all about that golden top 5 sellers from each age, aside from Golden.
