For decades, people young and old have been playing video games. From Atari to Playstation, there’s certainly a video game for every collector! With graded games, collectors can take their collection to the next level. Heritage holds a Mini-Boss Select auction each week, featuring some fine examples of collectible video games.

Dance Aerobics

Dance Aerobics was released by Nintendo in North America in 1989. This game is a part of the Family Trainer series, aimed at helping families live healthier lives. Dance Aerobics requires the use of Nintendo's Power Pad, a predecessor to the popular Dance Dance Revolution pad. The game itself plays like a rhythm game, so if you're looking to get into aerobic shape with your Nintendo, look no further!

This sealed 9.2 A WATA-graded copy is truly a unique item. With a one-year average of $165, this game may not make you a millionaire, but it certainly is an interesting item in video game history!

RoboWarrior

Known as Bomber King in Japan, this single-player puzzle game is exciting and fun. With a basic plot and easy gameplay, RoboWarrior was a great game to get lost in on a Saturday afternoon. This game did receive a sequel in Japan for the Game Boy and is a part of the larger Bomberman video game series. The box art is a personal favorite, as it looks to have been inspired by the LaserDisc cover art of Metropolis.

This sealed 9.4 B+ WATA-graded copy presents well, and despite its minor flaws, is still a great game to own. Prices on graded copies of this game have been steadily climbing, but they're still low enough to make this a good purchase for the right buyer. The one-year average on similarly graded games is $384.

M.C Kids

Before Burger King released their line of King video games, there was M.C Kids. Released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, this platform game is basically just a re-themed Super Mario Game. M.C Kids was colorful and fun and kept me entertained for some time. Yet despite the overall positive reception to the game, it didn't really gain traction and became another forgotten marketing product. There is a market for fast food tie-in collectibles, especially with Mcdonald's, so this game does get serious money when it's for sale.

This sealed 9.4 A WATA-graded copy presents well. The last 9.4 copy that sold was in January 2022 for $720, though higher graded copies tend to sell for over $2K respectively. This has the potential to be a valuable collector's piece, so if you're thinking of adding it to your collection, now is the time.

Batman: Return of the Joker

The absolutely coolest thing about this Batman game is the cover art by Carmine Infantino. The Joker looks terrifying with his larger-than-life grin, which gives way to the only thing he's ever had eyes for -- Batman. This side-scrolling action game was released across multiple platforms, and at one point was even going to make an appearance on the Super Nintendo. Unfortunately the game never got an SNES port, but could be played on the Nintendo Game Boy, the NES, and the Sega Genesis.

This sealed 7.5 A+ WATA-graded copy has bright and bold colors, but it does have some noticeable wear. Not many of these have been graded, and even less come up for sale. If you're a Batman collector, this could be to your advantage!
