For decades, people young and old have been playing video games. From Atari to Playstation, there’s certainly a video game for every collector! Now with graded games, collectors can take their collection to the next level. Each week, Heritage holds a Mini-Boss Select auction, featuring some fine examples of collectible video games.

These games can be graded or un-graded, or sometimes you’ll find an unopened shipment box! If you’re a video game collector, these weekly auctions should not be overlooked!

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc for Atari

Are you excited to see Indiana Jones on the big screen next summer? I sure am! While I don't have a particularly large Indy collection, I do have a soft spot for the franchise's video games -- and there are plenty of them.

In 1982, Atari released Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc for the Atari 2600. The plot follows the movie fairly well, but this game was fairly underwhelming due to the graphics and odd gameplay. As a result, the game sold fewer than one million copies.

This sealed WATA 9.4, has a glued lid -- so it is not factory sealed. The one-year average on similarly graded games is $207. This game is perfect for any Indiana Jones collector.

Final Fantasy

Square's Final Fantasy is one of the most celebrated RPGs of all time. So much so, that it's hard to believe the company behind the game was on the brink of bankruptcy. Originally, designers at Square thought the company was going to close shop after the game's release, hence the title. No one could have guessed what this game was going to spawn -- it's been over 30 years since the game was launched for the Nintendo Entertainment System, but the game would go on to spawn sequels, spin-offs, comics, movies, and more.

Final Fantasy itself has been re-released several times over the decades, with some re-releases adding new levels, new graphics, and more. The first installment has sold over a million copies with all of the remakes included. If you're looking for a piece of video game history for your collection, look no further.

This sealed WATA 9.6 A+ copy is one of the best you'll find. The one-year average on 9.6 copies is at $11,897, while the one-year average on 9.8 copies is $27,600. This is a great game for both investors and collectors alike, as there will likely always be interest in the Final Fantasy series.

Judge Dredd Press Kit with VHS

Here's something you don't see every day -- a press kit for the 1995 video game release of Judge Dredd. Based on the film version (which in turn is based on the comic from 2000 AD), this game featured pretty cool graphics and was a ton of fun to play.

This press kit is a real treat, though. This would go out to video game journalists hyping up the video game. The kit contains some cool items, including a VHS (likely explaining the video game) and DC's Judge Dredd #1 from 1994. Complete press kits such as this one are hard to find, and as such, finding a good price point for it is hard to do. If you're a Dredd fan, do not miss this opportunity to own something truly unique!
