The greatest superheroes that come to mind pave the way for the next generation of characters to take the lead. The names that come to mind are not limited to Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Captain America, Mister Fantastic, and many more. Their contributions live on and provide a path for the following group of individuals to take lead. For many heroes, their kids follow in their footsteps in making a difference in the world. Some examples include Batman with his son Damian Wayne or Cyclops and Jean Grey with Rachel Summers and Cable. All this hero talk has made me wonder about their opposite counterpart, villains. Even villains have children of their own that tend to follow in their parents' footsteps. Below are some progeny of famous villains you might not be aware of.

Enigma

She is the daughter of The Riddler. The Riddler's real name is Edward Nigma and he is known as a life-long enemy of Batman. His first appearance in the Golden Age was in Detective Comics #140 and his first Silver Age appearance was in Batman #171. He is a criminal genius that uses puzzles and mirrors to play tricks on heroes such as Batman.

Enigma would make her first appearance in Teen Titans Vol. 3 #38. Just like her father, she would literally follow in his footsteps. She would be involved in his life of crime and create havoc when she teamed-up with Duela Dent, the daughter of Earth-3's Jokester and Three-Face. Sadly, like her father, her life of crime resulted in her being thrown in jail. Her father would free her at some point and involved her in a break-in heist. Sadly, she would go against her dad and it resulted in a deathly betrayal for her.

Rose Wilson

Deathstroke, also known as Slade Wilson, is known as one of the most feared assassins and mercenaries in DC comics. Even with his busy life of killing people and feuding with heroes such as Nightwing, Batman, and Green Arrow, he managed to have a daughter. Her name is Rose Wilson.

Wilson, also known as Ravager, is known as both an antihero and villain. She has the same abilities as her father as she was injected with the same serum as him. This serum gives her enhanced strength, speed, and agility. These qualities make this character make her even more deadly as an assassin. Her first appearance is Deathstroke the Terminator #15.

Sin

Hail Hydra! One of the most famous phrases in Marvel history! One of the leaders of Hydra is Red Skull. Hydra is a terrorist organization with the intent of world domination through subversive tactics that span hundreds of years. Red Skull is one of their leaders and is the nemesis to Captain America. He also had a loyal follower and daughter named Sin.

With the help of her father, Sin would gain powers such as telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, and intangibility. She would be labeled as Mother Superior.  She would follow her father's footsteps and become a powerful leader of a group called the Sister of Sin.  Her first appearance is Captain America #16 and her first appearance as Mother Superior in Captain America #290.
