Media Release — On the weekend before Halloween, over 1,400 comic book shops will give away over 1 million free Halloween themed comics and mini-comics ranging from Batman and Spider-Man to Adventure Time and My Little Pony during Halloween ComicFest.
“The increased number of stores participating and comics ordered—up 15% over last year—shows increased confidence from comic book shop owners that more fans will come out and support their Halloween ComicFest events,” said Dan Manser, Diamond’s Director of Marketing. “Halloween ComicFest is certainly growing in recognition and popularity as a Halloween tradition among comic and Halloween enthusiasts.”
Halloween ComicFest takes place on October 26th and 27th at participating comic book specialty shops across the U.S. and beyond.
