Dayton, Ohio- Checker Book Publishing Group is announcing that the manufacturer has sold out of the very popular book, Growingold with BC - A 50 Year Celebration as of early December. The book can still be found at retail stores and can also be ordered online retailers. Since its release in late September 2007, the book has sold 10,000 copies and has delighted readers all over the world.

The book celebrates the 50th anniversary of the classic American comic strip drawn by Johnny Hart. This soft cover volume contains nearly 500 comic strips all chosen by Johnny Hart himself before he passed away in April 2007. Growingold with BC - A 50 Year Celebration includes never before artwork drawn by Hart as well as comments from the creator about his inspirations for the B.C. strip.
