Rare NES Cartridge Of The Legend of Zelda Is Being Auctioned Off at Heritage - An early production, sealed variant of a Zelda cartridge recently appeared at Heritage Auctions. This is quite possibly one of the earliest-produced versions of the game. This copy of the game was produced in late 1987 and is labelled as a "No Rev-A" version. Later, this would be replaced
by a "Rev-A" or "revised A" variant in 1988. Not only are there fewer than 5 of this version of the game purported to exist in this condition, but the condition of this cartridge is one of the nicest that has appeared at auction.
According to the description written by Heritage, "The only other rarer variant than this is a "NES TM" which is the true first production run of the NES cartridge. As it stands right now, this version of Zelda on the NES is the earliest possible version of the cartridge that can be obtained in a market. It boasts a very good sealed state with a 9.0 Wata A sealed rating."

2021 July 8 Certified DC Comics Special Titles Showcase Auction #40177 - Several DC comics are up for bids on Heritage. With two more days left in the auction, there’s still time to check out these items. Featured items include House of Mystery #160, Savannah Pedigree, CGC NM/MT 9.8 with white pages. The current high bid on this item is $1,300. The last 9.8 to come to auction sold for $3,299.99 on eBay in April of 2019. Only four copies in this grade are registered with the CGC Census.

ComicConnect's Top 3 Sales of the Week - The top sale of the week through ComicConnect's auctions goes to a beautiful copy of Captain America Comics #1 CGC 7.0, which sold for $325,000. There was a tie for second place with a variant copy of Ultimate Fallout #4 CGC 9.8 and a copy of Captain America Comics #2 CGC 7.5 each selling for $25,000. Finally, a sale of Batman #47 CGC 8.0 went for $9,700.

Star Wars Boba Fett Rocket-Firing Prototype (L-Slot) Sets World Record at Hake's Auction - A super-rare Star Wars
The toy is a “white whale” for many Star Wars enthusiasts, and it rarely comes up at auction. In 2017, Hake's sold a Boba Fett L-slot rocket-firing backpack prototype for around $86,000, and last July, another L-slot figurine was sold for $112,926. Both were records for "Star Wars" figurines at the auction house.
Rare signers' copy of Declaration of Independence fetches $4.42 million at auction - A rare printing of the Declaration of Independence once presented to Charles Carroll, the last surviving signer of the original document, sold for $4.42 million Thursday in Philadelphia.
The final price, which includes the buyer's premium, was more than five times its pre-auction estimate of $500,000 to $800,000. The price was confirmed by a spokesperson for Freeman's Auction, which orchestrated the sale.

That is almost triple the most recent cartridge-only sale of the collector’s item — a $3,575 sale of Air Raid on eBay in 2011. In 2012, a sealed copy of Air Raid (including cartridge, box, and instruction manual) brought $33,433.30.
GameRant, in a list updated last month, lists only five sales of Air Raid as a collector’s item. Goodwill said in a news release that “only 12 copies of the game have previously been found and sold.” Read more.
