Written by Joe Hill with art by Gabriel Rodriguez, the Locke & Key: Free Comic Book Day Edition presents a 26-page story that sees the Locke family and their wondrous Keyhouse mansion beset on all sides by shadowy threats. The malevolent spirit Dodge continues his relentless quest to find the key to the black door, and raises an army of shadows to wipe out anyone who might get in his way. Surrounded and outnumbered, the Locke children find themselves fighting a desperate battle, all alone, in a world where the night itself has become their enemy.
The FCBD edition is a great way to jump on the Locke & Key bandwagon and see what all the critics are raving about. The acclaimed comic series is nomiated for four Eisner Awards and is current in production for a FOX television show.
