FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH #1, the debut issue of the new 6-issue miniseries co-published by DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment, is now sold out and is going back to press for a new, second printing.
Scheduled to arrive in stores on January 16, FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH #1 Second Printing (NOV078069) will reprint the story by writers Jeff Katz and James Kuhoric and illustrated by Jason Craig. The cover will feature the complete, three-part illustration by J. Scott Campbell.
“Four years ago this story was collecting dust in my desk drawer, the product of a failed movie deal and likely to never see the light of day,” says Katz. “To be here now and see it both published and embraced by the fans in such a massive way has been a real thrill, and this second printing is a testament to the great work James, Jason, Thomas and the folks at DC, WildStorm and Dynamite are doing. This was truly a dream project for everyone involved and it’s a nice feeling to know that dreams — or should I say nightmares — really do come true. I’m honored to have been a part of it.”
