Prints, books, comics, sketchbooks and other art are among the more than 60 items currently available at the Anaheim Comic Con Charity Auction, to be held Sunday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center, in room 204B.
Most items have been donated and/or autographed by celebrities and artists attending Anaheim Comic Con.
Anaheim Comic Con wishes to thank everyone who donated items, the proceeds of which Wizard will donate to the following charities:
• Comix 4 Sight - Comics writer John Ostrander is fighting a battle against glaucoma to keep his vision, a fight made more difficult by the devastating cost of his medical bills. A few of his friends have formed a charity to help him called Comix 4 Sight.
• Snowball Express - Snowball Express is the charity for the children of our fallen military heroes. It started in 2006 with a simple idea: Provide hope and new memories to the children of our fallen military heroes who died while on active duty since September 11, 2001.
• Haven House - Haven House, the first domestic violence emergency shelter of its kind in the country, is a non profit organization dedicated to helping abused women and their children on their way toward a life free of violence.
• MoCCA – The purpose of the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is the collection, preservation, study, education, and display of comic and cartoon art.

Anaheim Comic Con runs from April 16-18, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center. This major pop-culture convention brings together fans of comics, toys, collectibles and offers a chance to see actors, writers, artists that each industry has to offer.
