The DARKEST HOUR Event continues in this first look at MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS #117.
The press release follows:
Media Release — BOOM! Studios, under license by leading toy and game company Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), revealed a first look at MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS #117, the continuation of the DARKEST HOUR event, taking place after the bold and greatly anticipated Reunited, Recharged era of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The superstar creative lineup includes writer Melissa Flores (Power Rangers, The Dead Lucky), artist Simona Di Gianfelice (All New Firefly) with Marco Renna (Mighty Morphin), colorist Raúl Angulo (Mech Cadet Yu) with assistance by Jose Enrique Fernández, and letterer Ed Dukeshire (The Woods, Irredeemable) in the continuation of this monumental 12-month event, available in February.
Things are desperate as the Dark Specter steps up an attack, with Rangers from different universes and civilians alike teaming up to keep the carnage at bay, but some special objects may be the key to keeping the planet safe… even if it won’t last for long. As Billy, Dr. Kendall Morgan, and the Phantom Ranger rush to repair the Master Arch, they’re only able to pull a single ally from the heart of the Morphin Grid as Dark Specter’s power grows…
MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS #117 features main cover art by star artist Taurin Clarke (Miles Morales: Spider-Man) and variant covers by acclaimed illustrators Björn Barends (Spawn), Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and the first of three connecting covers by Michael Walsh (The Silver Coin)!
