Fee Increase Update

by Andrea Williams

header-300x157 Fee Increase UpdateA couple of months ago, Jeff, the CEO of GoCollect gave an update about the company and where we are headed. One of those updates was a fee increase that was set to happen on July 5th. That date has now been pushed out until August 3rd.

Free Subscriptions

We will continue to retain and enhance our free subscription area without the need to upgrade. If you are thinking about making the switch to a premium subscription, there has never been a better time than now! You can upgrade to a monthly premium subscription for $5.99 per month or an annual subscription for $64.99 a year. You can lock these prices in for life! Ready to make the switch? Click here to upgrade to a premium subscription.

Premium Subscriptions

The costs for our Premium Access subscription will be increasing for those who create a new subscription beginning August 3, 2020. Everyone has the chance to upgrade to our advanced suite of collector tools and tracking data by August 2, 2020, to lock-in today’s low rates for the life of your subscription.

Lock-in Low Rates for Life

You can keep the low rates for life, but there is one catch: *You can’t let your subscription lapse – you will need to maintain your paid subscription to continue to enjoy the low rate for as long as you’d like. The best way to ensure your subscription doesn’t lapse is by switching to an annual subscription. You can “set it and forget it” and also save 10% off the monthly price!

As a fun side bonus, those who lock in their Premium subscription by August 2, 2020, will receive a special “OCC badge” (Original Comic Collector) on their future profile page (additional details to follow in the coming months).

Subscription Price Changes beginning August 3, 2020, for those that have not locked-in their current rate

  • Pay-as-you-go pricing will go from $5.99 per month to $9 per month
  • Annual pricing will go up from $64.99 per year to $89 per year

Daniel – first of all, thank you for being a subscriber! If you email help@gocollect.com they will be able to assist you with getting your account switched over from monthly to annually to lock in those rates.

Also, wanted to be sure if i subscribe monthly my rate of $5.99 will be locked in for life? i dont have to be an annual subscriber to get that benefit? and can i switch to annual in the future and maintain the discounted annual rate too?

Yes on both questions. Premium members see the FMV value when they print their lists from their profile. If you upgrade prior to Aug. 3rd you will be guaranteed those rates for life as long as your membership doesn’t lapse. The benefit to annual is you will save 10% off the monthly rate and it’s a pay once and done deal per year.

When I try and print my lists u set free subscription there is no column for value? Even though i partially got this service for insurance purposes. Does the paid subscription provide that feature?

Jeffery – you have two options. If you want to continue as a free member, you can add your own values, so when you print you list that will pop in. Or, you can upgrade to a paid monthly/yearly subscription, and the GoCollect FMV data will pop in there.

Trent – What we have noticed works best is to unsubscribe then resubscribe as annual. If you continue to have issues/complications reach out to help@gocollect.com
